However, the Jammu & Kashmir police were not defeated; rather, they were determined to rise to the challenge. They underwent a transformative process and have now become one of the finest counter-terrorism forces in the country. Their officers are exceptionally trained, having effectively managed the direst situations with courage and professionalism. This book aims to shed light on the struggle and sacrifices of the Jammu & Kashmir Police as they combat terrorism within the region.
